SAN ANTONIO, January 30, 2012 – Howard Midstream Energy Partners, LLC (HEP) today announced that Josh Weber has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Business Development. Mr. Weber will lead the company’s business development team as it continues to aggressively pursue its growth strategy.

Prior to joining HEP, Mr. Weber spent six years with Southwestern Energy holding various positions in the company’s midstream and upstream divisions including Vice President, Planning and Commercial Operations for Southwestern Midstream Services, and most recently General Manager for the company’s ArkLaTex Division. During his time with Southwestern Energy, Mr. Weber’s responsibilities included the planning and optimization of gathering infrastructure within the Fayetteville Shale, the negotiation of interstate pipeline agreements totaling 2 billion cubic feet per day, and the engineering, construction, and operation of a 70 million cubic feet per day gathering system in East Texas.
With more than 15 years experience in the energy industry, Mr. Weber previously has held various planning and analysis positions at Burlington Resources and Transocean Offshore, and worked as a consultant in the energy practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Weber received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
