Tim DeSpain

Tim DeSpain joined Howard Energy Partners in 2015 when the company purchased the majority interest of GT Logistics, LLC and he has served as Vice President of Business Development until his promotion to EVP in 2023. Tim co-founded GT Logistics in 2010 and served as President managing the development of an 1,100 acre petroleum products terminal in Port Arthur, Texas. He has over 35 years of experience including senior finance roles with Fortune 500 energy companies, private equity sponsored independent ventures and major commercial banks. Immediately prior to forming GT Logistics, Tim served as the CFO of Remedial Construction Services, LP where he structured and executed the transfer of ownership from a family unit to a leading private equity company.

Tim has a B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
