Since taking an operating interest, in under one year, the HEP team increased throughput and enhanced system performance of the approximately 200-mile, 36-inch FERC-regulated natural gas pipeline in Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin, helping move the system from roughly 85% to 100% contracted operational use by Winter 2025 as highlighted in the 2025 Positive Energy Annual Report.
More recently, in May 2026, HEP increased its ownership interest in the Midship Pipeline to 100%, and additionally closed on the acquisition of Superior Midstream, a Tulsa-based natural gas gathering and processing company with operations across Oklahoma, Kansas, the Texas Panhandle, and East Texas.
Together, these midcontinent midstream acquisitions represent nearly 4,000 miles of natural gas pipelines and associated processing infrastructure, and will help move natural gas from production areas to downstream markets across North America.
